Through GYEi’s entrepreneurship program, she received training in business planning, financial management, and marketing. With the support of a small loan and mentorship, Aisha opened her own food stall, offering a wider variety of dishes. Her business is thriving, providing a stable income for her family and empowering her to become a successful entrepreneur.

Overcoming Obstacles, Achieving Academic Excellence
Samuel, a bright young student from a rural community, faced significant challenges in accessing quality education. GYEi provided him with a scholarship, covering his tuition fees and school supplies. With this support, Samuel excelled academically, earning a place at a prestigious university. He is now studying computer science, with dreams of becoming a software developer and contributing to Cameroon’s technological advancement.

Breaking Barriers, Pursuing a Passion for Art
Ngozi, a talented young artist from Douala, faced cultural barriers that limited her opportunities to pursue her passion. GYEi connected her with a network of artists, providing her with mentorship, exhibition opportunities, and access to art supplies. Ngozi’s artwork is now gaining recognition, inspiring other young people to pursue their creative dreams and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Cameroon.

Leading Change Through Community Action
A group of young people in Bamenda, concerned about the lack of recreational spaces for youth, decided to take action. Through GYEi’s leadership development program, they learned about community mobilization, project planning, and advocacy. Together, they successfully advocated for the renovation of a local park, transforming it into a vibrant community center for youth activities.
